Kelly ONLYCHILD is a Creative Director, artist and award winning multi-disciplinary designer. Having started her career drawing textile print designs by hand at celebrated fashion house Alexander McQueen in 2009, over the course of her professional life, she's maintained close ties to the fashion and music industries whilst expanding into the realms of both interiors and art.
She founded her now renowned brand ONLYCHILD in 2012, which soared in popularity after Cara Delevingne was the first of many world-famous celebrities spotted wearing it from 2013 onwards; press exposure, presentations at both London and Paris Fashion Weeks and brand collaborations with global retailers such as ASOS ensued. Since then, Kelly has taken on the role of Creative Director & designer for a range of client projects from festivals and DJ's to hotels and luxury cosmetics brands, OC Studio developed organically as demand for her work grew, and most recently winning Creativepool's Annual People's Choice Award 2024 for Spatial Design.
OC Studio's range of skills encompass many areas of design among more linear elements such as procurement and project management to match the broad scope of it's projects and client base. Collaboration and originality are at the heart of every project undertaken.
Art advisory and curation is a key part of what makes OC Studio unique when it comes to designing interiors. Kelly has both the ability to create bespoke art from scratch, as a Fine Art graduate (Chelsea College of Art, UAL) and an excellent knowledge of contemporary art from up-and-coming artists to household names for sourcing and curating the perfect selection of art & fine art prints. A keen eye for taking design inspiration from meaningful elements of the project or brief is one of OC Studio's key points of difference, enabling every project to have an elevated sense of uniqueness. This, together with an appreciation of a diverse mix of mid-century, contemporary and industrial styles, a real love for unearthing unique treasures and meticulous yet imaginative planning creates the platform for cool and contemporary interior spaces.
